Daimler Truck Holding AG posted revenue of 12,292 million euros in Q2 2026, with diluted earnings per share of 1.91 euros; unit sales rose 8% year-over-year to 86,707 vehicles, driven primarily by improved order intake 24. Net profit of 1,468 million euros was substantially higher than the prior-year quarter, primarily reflecting proceeds from the completed integration of Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation and Hino Motors Ltd. into the new ARCHION Corporation holding company 24. Daimler Truck subsequently raised its full-year 2026 Adjusted EBIT guidance to a range of €3.6 billion to €4.1 billion, citing updated US tariff regulations and higher expected unit sales 24.

Revenue trend
Guidance
For FY2026, the company guides Revenue to €43 bn. to €47 bn. (raised); EBIT (adjusted) to €3.6 bn. to €4.1 bn. (raised); Unit sales in the Industrial Business to 340 to 370 thousand units (confirmed). 24.
Profitability
Reported EBIT was 360 million euros, below the prior-year period level of 396 million euros, with higher material costs and tariff effects cited as contributing factors 24. Net profit for the quarter was materially boosted by €1.4 billion in cash proceeds related to the Mitsubishi Fuso integration, while a prior-year non-cash special item of €218 million for the derecognition of capitalized development costs did not recur in 2026 24. Free cash flow was 225 million euros, with operating cash flow of 461 million euros and capital expenditures of 236 million euros.
Leverage
Cash and cash equivalents stood at 8,245 million euros at the end of Q2 2026, down from 8,648 million euros at year-end 2025, primarily due to dividend payments and financing liability repayments 24. Net debt was 20,307 million euros at quarter-end, modestly below 20,952 million euros at the end of Q1 2026. No net-debt-to-EBITDA ratio for the latest twelve months was provided in the available period inputs.
Management view
Daimler Truck raised its full-year 2026 Adjusted EBIT guidance to between €3.6 billion and €4.1 billion and maintained its Industrial Business free cash flow guidance at €3.0 billion to €3.5 billion for the year 24. Toyota Motor Corporation agreed to join the cellcentric hydrogen fuel cell joint venture as an equal one-third partner alongside Volvo Group and Daimler Truck, with transaction completion expected by end of 2026 or early 2027 24. Daimler Truck Defence was consolidated as a new global brand targeting €1 billion in revenue by 2028, and Daimler Buses announced a planned investment of up to €200 million in a European bus-specific service network over coming years 24.
Change
Adjusted Group EBIT of €838 million was down 18% versus Q2 2025 (€1,022 million), impacted by higher material costs and tariff effects 24. The North American Class 8 heavy-duty truck market declined 6% year-over-year in Q2 2026, creating headwinds for the Trucks North America segment 24. Mercedes-Benz Trucks segment revenue increased 10% in Q2 2026 to €5,318 million, driven by higher unit sales and positive sales mix effects that offset the impact of prior-year restructuring charges in the comparison period 24.
Risks (current)
Non-cash impairment charges of €297 million on the ARCHION investment portion not classified as held for sale and €199 million on Amplify Cell Technologies – the latter related to a postponed battery production start in the US and delayed transformation to battery-electric vehicles – represent company-specific financial and technology exposures 24. U.S. import tariff uncertainty under Section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act continues to affect the North America segment; while the US Supreme Court ruled the tariffs unlawful in February 2026 the regulatory framework remains unsettled, and the US Department of Commerce's approval of Daimler Truck's US Content application effective November 2025 is expected to partially reduce but not eliminate the tariff impact 24. Shipping restrictions in the Strait of Hormuz have contributed to elevated global energy prices, and the planned closure of the Portland Truck Manufacturing Plant by end of 2026 creates near-term operational transition risk for the North America manufacturing network 24.
New this reporting period
On April 1, 2026, the integration of Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation and Hino Motors Ltd. into ARCHION Corporation was finalized, with ARCHION listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange the same day, and Daimler Truck stated a plan to reduce its ARCHION shareholding to approximately 25% going forward 24. The acquisition of British eStar Truck & Van Ltd. was announced, covering six locations in the Greater Manchester and Liverpool area to expand UK market presence, and the new Zárate Industrial Center in Argentina was inaugurated on May 12, 2026, to support production of Mercedes-Benz truck models and bus chassis 24. The Mercedes-Benz eActros Lowliner variant for long-haul logistics was launched in Q2 2026 with series production scheduled for Q2 2027 in Wörth am Rhein, Germany, and Daimler Truck North America announced the planned closure of the Portland Truck Manufacturing Plant by end of 2026 alongside plans for a new state-of-the-art US manufacturing facility 24.

2025-Q1 · Jan – Mar 2025

„Our performance in the first quarter reflects our improved resilience and underscores the commitment of our global team. At Trucks North America we continue to deliver strong results, despite lower markets. We achieved an important milestone to make Mercedes-Benz Trucks significantly more profitable in the next years by reaching an agreement with the General Works Council on the Cost Down Europe program. Our focus remains on our measures to structurally improve our business, reduce volatility and enhance cash generation and return on capital. Due to the growing economic uncertainty and the resulting pressure on demand in the US, we reduced our sales outlook for the full year, while keeping our margin guidance unchanged - both for North America and for our Industrial Business – a testament of our increased strength.“ – Eva Scherer, CFO of Daimler Truck 15

„Daimler Truck has delivered overall solid results on Group level in the second quarter. Leaving aside the negative one-time effect of the impairment in China, our adjusted Return on Sales for the Industrial Business would have been again double-digit. The segments Trucks North America and Daimler Buses have shown an excellent performance with record margins. However, demand in key truck markets particularly in Asia and Europe has weakened, giving us stronger headwinds. This is also reflected in our updated full-year guidance with an expected adjusted Return on Sales in the range of 8 to 9.5%. for the Industrial Business. This does not satisfy us. Reported KPIs (as disclosed) (347)#

Figures the company discloses itself in addition to the standard financials; order intake, recurring revenue, user or unit counts, adjusted measures. These “story KPIs” usually slip through standard databases; here they are collected as reported, with no calculation of our own. Important: the definition comes from the company itself and can differ from firm to firm; period and source are stated next to every value.

Company-specific KPIs verbatim from the filings (English, as disclosed; not normalised). Balance-sheet and boilerplate items filtered.

A condensed summary per reporting period as running text: what changed operationally, which drivers management names, how earnings and cash flow developed. Most recent period first, grouped by year; each text is written from the original report of that period, superscript numbers lead to the source.

FY2026

In the first half of fiscal 2026, Daimler Truck reported revenues of 9,981 million in the first quarter 141 and 12,292 million in the second quarter 142, with the full-year adjusted EBIT guidance subsequently raised after Q2. The first quarter was materially weaker than the prior year, with Industrial Business revenue declining 14% to €9.1 billion, adjusted Group EBIT falling 54% to €498 million, and adjusted return on sales declining to 5.0% from 9.4%, driven by lower unit sales across most segments, tariff-related demand weakness in North America, and an impairment of €199 million on the Amplify Cell Technologies investment 22 23. On April 1, 2026, Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation and Hino Motors Ltd. were integrated into the newly established ARCHION Corporation, resulting in Mitsubishi Fuso's deconsolidation from the Daimler Truck Group and expected cash inflows of €1.5 billion to €2 billion for Daimler Truck 22 24. Group unit sales recovered in Q2 2026, rising 8% year-over-year to 86,707 vehicles, while adjusted Group EBIT reached €838 million, still below the prior-year level due to higher material costs and tariff effects, and net income of 1,468 million was significantly higher than the prior-year quarter, in large part reflecting proceeds from the Mitsubishi Fuso transaction 24. Following updated U.S. tariff regulations and higher anticipated unit sales, the company raised its full-year adjusted EBIT guidance to €3.6 billion to €4.1 billion 24.

FY2025

Daimler Truck Holding AG reported full-year 2025 group revenue of 49,387 million, compared with €54,077 million in 2024, as group unit sales declined 8% to 422,510 units driven primarily by a 26% decrease in Trucks North America segment volumes amid tariff uncertainties and a softening North American heavy-duty truck market 21. Group net profit reached 2,033 million, 34% below the prior year's €3,066 million, while earnings per share stood at 2.56 per share 21. The Industrial Business delivered adjusted EBIT of €3.8 billion at an adjusted return on sales of 7.8%, as pricing and mix benefits in Trucks North America and margin improvements in Mercedes-Benz Trucks partly offset volume headwinds; reported results were further burdened by €331 million in Cost Down Europe restructuring charges and a €218 million non-cash derecognition of battery-electric vehicle development costs recognized in Q2 21. Full-year guidance was cut twice – first in Q1 following deteriorating North American market visibility, and again in Q2 as conditions softened further – and the company signed definitive agreements in June 2025 for the integration of Mitsubishi Fuso and Hino Motors into the new ARCHION holding company, targeted to close April 2026 15 18. Cash at year-end increased to 8,648 million from €6,553 million in 2024, underpinned by a significant improvement in operating cash flow from the prior year 21.

FY2024
